“I can’t imagine my life without DRIMCO. It has changed the game for me. I can put in a sentence or two of a generic idea and DRIMCO takes it in and in 30 seconds or less generates more than I can ever imagine.”
The Customer’s story describes a family business that grew into a now global family of companies.
They think in terms of generations and their actions are based on their responsibility for the future of our environment. This is how they shape the character of the mobility of tomorrow.
Today, being flexible and able to adapt to new situations with speed and decisiveness are pivotal to long-term success.
Before the Customer decided to introduce a digitized requirements solution (DRIM), assessing stakeholder requirements from RFQs (Requests For Quotations) or regulations was a manual process separately managed by Sales and Engineering for project and product requirements. Cybersecurity, ASPICE and FUSA (Functional Safety) are trends heavily pushing the amounts of stakeholder requirements which need to be managed.
The high volume of stakeholder requirements for the bid teams and for the execution teams to continuously manage together with reduced bid cycles and expert shortage, it was a laborious, time-consuming and inexact process, which put pressure on project risks and didn’t serve the business of the end-customers effectively.
To improve its business excellence, the Customer envisioned a digitized requirements process seamlessly integrating the expert knowledge from all different stakeholders like sales, engineering, product, series production, legal, maintenance, etc. as if they were always sitting at one table and jointly pre-evaluating thousands of stakeholder requirements in seconds - enabling the Customer to act faster at reduced cost.
The customer wanted to establish an efficient flow for the assessment of stakeholder requirements unified for all formats including pdf and MS-office documents, ReqIF, DOORs modules or drawings. Uploading stakeholder requirements from all formats to DRIM the AI quickly evaluates which requirements have already been expert assessed before. Changed or new requirements are identified. In short time risks can be identified and solved. All stakeholder requirements can be assessed within the time frames set by the customers.

Through the deep integration with the existing requirements lifecycle management system Polarion, a shared AI knowledge lifecycle is created spanning over all involved disciplines from sales to engineering. All stakeholder requirements are managed in an APSICE compliant clean process with full traceability across all steps to the very origin of the stakeholder requirements.
By dramatically shortening the RFQ evaluation cycle and making sure that every customer requirement is comprehensively and consistently expert assessed and planned, the Customer will be able to respond fast to RFQs, to execute projects with a much-reduced risk of non-conformances and achieve sustainable end-customer satisfaction.
